Victorian Thanksgiving

There is so much to be thankful for.  Yesterday I was invited to a Victorian style home and it was done to the hilt.  Quite beautiful and a wonderful experience.

I posted the pictures with little comments on Facebook.  I hope you like them.

I think it would be cool to give people gift cards for the after-holiday sales.  Please be careful if you are out and about.

Happy Hollidays.

Heading into Thanksgiving . . .

Spent time organizing old pre-digital photos and put together a garden journal.

Hope you enjoy it.

Much love to you.

Garden Queen

Yesterday I had a garden angel vision.  I’m sure it was just a furry plant seed floating in a slow zig-zag pattern.  Alone, no others.  It was entirely lit up from the sun against a darker background.  She looked like a lighted snow queen in a lacy gown with a big headdress, like someone from a New Orleans parade, just tiny and thin and floating in.

Avacado Promise

The Avocado Promise

There is a portion of an avocado tree that shades my small yard.  It drops lots of leaves on my walkway that I patiently kick back under the gate to the other side.

I do love avocados.  They are creamy and go most excellently with garlic.

When I walked out to the yard yesterday I saw there was a tiny avocado growing just overhead of my walkway.  I thought I should take a picture of it and coin a positive message about it’s promise of abundance to come and maybe post it on my blog.

So the next time I went out I was a little dismayed to see a tiny avocado laying on the walkway.  Oh no, there goes my abundance promise.  But then I looked up and my original tiny avocado was still there and beyond it were four others . . .  all on my side of the fence.  Mucho good lucko for the future!!!!

I’m keeping the tiny avocado that fell for awhile.

Also I found a tiny (maybe an inch long) iridescent blue dragonfly near the trickle of the garden hose,  and it hovered between the leaves near the trickling water, a microcosm, right there in my garden.  Fairies could live here.  That’s how I felt when I discovered the dragonfly there.
